The Schaefer Group is a multinational company that develops designs and manufactures tooling, standard- and special machines configured as bench top, semi- and fully automatic machines which are suited for the wire processing industry. The Schaefer products are primarily used by suppliers for the automobile industry as well as manufacturers of white goods, computers and communication equipment. The product range is completed by a range of quality assurance systems, machines for processing polymer optical fibers (POF) as well as tooling for stamping and injection molding machines.
Schaefer Werkzeug- und Sondermaschinenbau GmbH in Bad Schoenborn, Germany, which is the Headquarter of the Schaefer Group, was founded by Bernhard Schaefer in 1985, and today still is owned by the Schaefer Family. Due to continued growth in products, sales and customer base the Schaefer Group is expanding worldwide which strengthens Schaefer in its current international orientation and global position.
