This module analyses materialographic specimens, especially for quantitative phase determination. Grey-value detection is used to analyse different structural constituents in up to 6 phases or layers (entire image or pre-selected partial area). Other features include configurable settings such as greyscale threshold, phase labels, layer colour and edge correction as well as an integrated, automatic MS Excel™ report.
Area Detection
Use the module Area Detection to evaluate percentage phase fractions (with automatic greyscale analysis).
The phase chart and the false-colour image will be transferred by a mouse-click to MS Excel™, a graph will be displayed automatically, as well.
